GARMENT CARE GUIDE
Garment Care Guide – 001
Precision in care preserves structure, texture, and longevity.
Each fabric requires deliberate handling.
Wool
Wool is resilient but sensitive to heat and friction.
Care Instructions:
• Hand wash in cold water using mild detergent
• Do not wring or twist
• Lay flat to dry on a clean towel
• Avoid direct sunlight while drying
• Steam lightly to remove wrinkles
• Dry clean recommended for structured wool garments
Avoid:
Machine washing on high heat, tumble drying, harsh detergents.
Proper care prevents shrinkage and maintains fiber integrity.
Linen
Linen is breathable and naturally textured. Wrinkling is part of its character.
Care Instructions:
• Machine wash cold on gentle cycle
• Use mild detergent
• Air dry preferred
• Iron while slightly damp for a smooth finish
• Steam for a relaxed drape
Avoid:
High heat drying, overloading washing machine.
Linen softens over time when treated correctly.
Cashmere
Cashmere is delicate and requires refined handling.
Care Instructions:
• Hand wash cold with cashmere-specific or mild detergent
• Do not soak longer than 10 minutes
• Press water out gently (do not twist)
• Lay flat to dry on a towel
• Store folded, not hung
• Use a fabric comb to remove pilling
Avoid:
Machine washing, tumble drying, hanging on hangers.
Cashmere rewards patience — structure is preserved through minimal agitation.
Knitwear (General Knits & Fine Knits)
Knits are flexible but can lose shape if mishandled.
Care Instructions:
• Cold wash on gentle cycle or hand wash
• Use mild detergent
• Do not stretch when wet
• Lay flat to dry
• Fold for storage
• Steam lightly instead of ironing directly
Avoid:
Hanging wet garments, aggressive wringing, high heat.
Maintaining shape is the priority.
Storage Guidance
• Store in cool, dry environments
• Avoid wire hangers for delicate fabrics
• Use breathable garment bags for long-term storage
• Keep away from moisture and direct heat sources
